GZL Company profile

As a subsidiary of the Lingnan Group, the GZL International Travel Service was founded on December 5th 1980 and it became part of the Lingnan Holdings, a listed company in 2017. Having dedicated itself to China’s tourism industry for over 40 years, the company has been awarded numerous honorary titles at various level. It is the only travel agency in China to win the Tripod of Satisfactory Service for Users in China, the highest award for quality management in China. It is also the only travel service in China to be constantly granted the modal unit of quality travel services in China by the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China(AQSIQ) and the former China National Tourism Administration(CNTA). Moreover, GZL remains the only recipient of the honorary title of China Quality Award conferred by China Quality Association among all travel agencies in China. In 2022, the GZL was selected as one of the fine examples of business integrity in China by the Ministry of Commerce, the only award winner in China’s cultural and tourism sector. The company was also the first travel service in Guangdong Province to be awarded the honorary title of Modal Travel Service by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the only travel service in Guangdong Province to be included in the list of modal unit by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for standardized management. The travel service was also the first enterprise in the service sector within the Guangdong Province to be granted Quality Award of the Guangdong Provincial Government, the highest honor in terms of quality management set up by Guangdong Provincial Government. In 2023, the company was awarded the title of Modal Travel Service in China by the Ministry of Culture and only Tourism and it was only travel in Guangdong Province that obtained such a honorary title. According to the latest standing of China’s top 100 travel agencies issued by the former CNTA, the company ranked 10th and 1st in China and Guangdong Province respectively in terms of comprehensive strengths. Based on the list of rankings released by the China Travel Service Association in 2022, the GZL International Travel Service was once again included in the lists of both China’s top 20 travel service brand and China’s top 30 domestic travel service.

The main business of GZL International Travel Service includes domestic tourism, outbound tourism, inbound tourism and others. At the same time, it is involved in the following business such as air ticket reservation, convention and exhibition services, scenic spots development and management, marketing and promotion of tourist destinations, tour bus rental service, IT technology development and business consultation, overseas study consultation, property management.

The company has now put in place a nation-wide operational system which is composed of its headquarter in South China, operation center in North China, operation center in Central China, operation center in Northwest China, operation center in the West of the Taiwan Strait, operation center in East China as well as operation in Southwest China. The GZL has also established its branches in places such as Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Shanghai, Yunnan, Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Shaan xi, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Hainan and others, with its business covering over 100 countries and regions worldwide. The company has put in place a modal combing tourist destination services, tour products supply as well as sale channels, covering the whole industrial chain of tourism industry and it is making great efforts to foster a modal of development featuring integration of tourism retail and wholesale business as well as combination of online and offline sales channels with focus on markets of both tourism destinations and sources of tourists.
